The multi-tasking EDINA social media guru Nicola Osborne has done a sterling job to bring together all presentations, videos, blog posts and news items from Repository Fringe 2011.

All videos are edited and on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/repofringe), images are on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/groups/repofringe11/) and presentations are on SlideShare (http://www.slideshare.net/repofringe).

Links to all videos and presentations (including those on Prezi or in PDF form) are now on the programme: https://rfringe11.blogs.edina.ac.uk/programme/

The Videos are also embedded on the appropriate page of the blog: https://rfringe11.blogs.edina.ac.uk/programme/videos/

The Presentations are also embedded here: https://rfringe11.blogs.edina.ac.uk/programme/presentations/

All Blog posts and news items found on the event are also available (this also includes a link to our TwapperKeeper Twitter archive): https://rfringe11.blogs.edina.ac.uk/take-part/coverage/

Nicola is hoping to put up audio files and some limited video of the JISC CETIS event in the near future.

Many thanks go to Nicola and to all participants and delegates for making RF11 a stimulating, worthwhile, and thoroughly enjoyable event.

best,
Stuart Macdonald

What?
A free two day DevCSI hackathon / developer challenge has been organised in conjunction with the Repository Fringe 11. Its purpose is to get repository developers, repository managers and experts in the domain, many of whom are attending RepoFringe11 to come up with ideas, and then for some to work on these prototypes during a ‘hackathon’. The ideas/prototypes will be presented to an audience and the best ones will receive prizes.

Where?
4.40 (Mini Forum 2), Fourth Floor, School of Informatics, Informatics Forum, 10 Crichton Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9AB.

When?
Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th August, 2011

For further details (including mini programme) visit:

One month to go and delegate numbers are looking positive, the programme is filling up and the Edinburgh temperature is rising!  We have created our first draft of a programme (both timings and order of speakers is flexible at this stage) and can confirm that Eloy Rodrigues (University of Minho) will be providing the opening keynote. Currently there still are a number of Pecha Kucha, formal presentation, and roundtable discussion slots available so feel free to get involved or speak to colleagues about participating.

We can be contacted at : repofringe@gmail.com

Note we are not averse to conducting a parallel session or two should we be overwhelmed with ideas for presentations.

We are still waiting to hear back from a number of potential presenters so if happens to be you, then please get in contact and become part of yet another great Repository Fringe.

For those not yet registered please refer to our Eventbrite page:
http://repofringe2011.eventbrite.com/

Looking forward to seeing you in Edinburgh.
